Austria, Belgia, Białoruś, Bułgaria, Chorwacja, Cypr, Czechy, Dania, Estonia, Finlandia, Francja, Kazachstan, Mołdawia, Niemcy, Grecja, Węgry, Islandia, Irlandia, Włochy, Łotwa, Litwa, Luksemburg, Malta, Holandia, Norwegia, Polska, Portugalia, Rumunia, Słowacja, Słowenia, Hiszpania, Szwecja, Szwajcaria, Turcja, Ukraina i Wielka Brytania.

ETAPY I ZASADY KONKURSU

Zawody podzielone są na następujące kategorie

1. Tango Pista - Oficjalne Eliminacje do Mundialu BA oraz Międzynarodowy Puchar Polski

2. Tango Escenario - Oficjalne Eliminacje do Mundialu BA oraz Międzynarodowy Puchar Polski

3. Tango Vals - Międzynarodowy Puchar Polski

4. Tango Milonga - Międzynarodowy Puchar Polski

5. Milonguero/Milonguera - Międzynarodowy Puchar Polski

Konkurs we wszystkich kategoriach będzie przebiegał w 3 etapach, zgodnie z harmonogramem ustalonym przez Organizację:

I) Runda kwalifikacyjna,

II) Półfinał,

III) Finał.

I) Runda kwalifikacyjna: Wezmą udział wszystkie zarejestrowane pary. Zatańczą jeden raz w piątek.

II) Półfinał: Pary wybrane w rundzie kwalifikacyjnej wezmą udział w sobotę.

III) Finał: Pary wybrane w półfinale wezmą udział w niedzielę.

W kategoriach Tango de Pista, Vals, Milonga, Milonguero pary będą rywalizować w występach grupowych, tańcząc do trzech utworów, wybranych przez Organizatorów.

W kategorii Tango Escenario każda para będzie rywalizować indywidualnie, tańcząc do jednego wybranego przez siebie utworu. Utwór muzyczny nie może trwać dłużej niż cztery (4) minuty.

W momencie konkursu co najmniej dziesięć (10) par musi wziąć udział w rundach kwalifikacyjnych w kategorii Tango Stage (Escenario) i co najmniej dwadzieścia (20) w kategorii Tango de Pista, aby konkurs został uznany za oficjalny (niezależnie od liczby zarejestrowanych uczestników). W przeciwnym razie wydarzenie nie będzie już oficjalne, a zwycięska para nie zakwalifikuje się do udziału w TANGO BUENOS AIRES FESTIVAL Y MUNDIAL 2025.

Pary mogą zostać zdyskwalifikowane, jeśli:

a) Nie będą przestrzegać regulaminu konkursu.

b) Będą angażować się w jakąkolwiek ekspresję polityczną lub religijną podczas konkursu (w jakikolwiek sposób), która mogłaby zostać uznana za obraźliwą dla publiczności lub organizatorów lub która mogłaby zakłócić przebieg wydarzenia.

c) Dopuszczą się jakiegokolwiek naruszenia zasad etycznych lub niewłaściwego działania, które mogłoby zaszkodzić wizerunkowi Eliminacji i/lub Mistrzostw Świata w Tango 2025 lub spowodować dyskomfort publiczności.

d) Dopuścić się jakiegokolwiek aktu agresji fizycznej i/lub słownej w miejscu zawodów lub poza nim, wobec jakiejkolwiek osoby, w tym uczestników, członków jury, personelu lub ogółu społeczeństwa.

Jeśli wystąpi którakolwiek z tych sytuacji, ORGANIZACJA i FESTIVALES BA mogą wspólnie podjąć decyzję o dyskwalifikacji lub wyeliminowaniu pary z zawodów.

Zawodnicy mogą uczestniczyć w zajęciach grupowych lub seminariach prowadzonych przez członków jury, ale nie mogą pobierać prywatnych lekcji od żadnego członka jury, gdy nadal biorą udział w zawodach.

Odnośnie odwołań: Wszystkie decyzje jury będą ostateczne i nie podlegają odwołaniu. Rejestrując się, uczestnicy automatycznie akceptują ten warunek. W przypadku jakichkolwiek wątpliwości lub nieporozumień, zainteresowana strona może złożyć pisemny wniosek (w języku hiszpańskim lub angielskim) do ORGANIZACJI, ale NIE bezpośrednio do panelu sędziowskiego.

FILMOWANIE I FOTOGRAFOWANIE

Organizacja Eliminacji zastrzega sobie prawo do rejestrowania wszystkich etapów Mistrzostw, za pomocą wszelkich znanych lub znanych środków — w tym, ale nie wyłącznie, filmowania, nagrywania, fotografowania, digitalizacji itp. — przez siebie lub osoby trzecie, w celu promowania i reklamowania wydarzenia. Uzyskany materiał nagrany będzie wyłączną własnością Organizacji Eliminacji, która będzie musiała przekazać jego kopię, zgodnie z Umową o współpracy, do Biura Festiwali. Przystępując do Mistrzostw, uczestnicy wyraźnie i nieodwołalnie upoważniają do korzystania z nagranego materiału, bez sugerowania — lub implikowania — jakiejkolwiek rekompensaty z jakiegokolwiek powodu przez Organizację Eliminacji i/lub Biuro Festiwali na rzecz jakiejkolwiek osoby lub organizacji, która rości sobie prawo do jakiegokolwiek prawa, na które można się powołać. Niniejsza klauzula obejmuje również, bez ograniczeń, cały materiał fotograficzny opublikowany i/lub udostępniony w celach promocyjnych, reklamowych itp.

ZASADY OCENIANIA

TANGO PISTA, VALS, MILONGA, MILONGUERO (WSTĘP NIEOGRANICZONY, AMATORZY I PROFESJONALIŚCI)

Tango jest postrzegane jako taniec towarzyski, w którym najważniejsze aspekty to improwizacja, objęcie i połączenie między partnerami tanecznymi.

Krążenie par: Pary, tak jak w prawdziwej sali tanecznej, będą tańczyć w rundach i będą musiały stale poruszać się przeciwnie do ruchu wskazówek zegara, nie cofając się. W razie potrzeby będą mogły cofnąć się o jeden lub dwa kroki, zawsze w obrębie przestrzeni pary.

Para musi być świadoma i szanować swoją przestrzeń i przestrzeń innych par w rundzie, aby nie zaburzyć harmonii podczas poruszania się.

Jeśli para wykona więcej niż dwie długie kombinacje w tym samym miejscu, utrudniając krążenie na parkiecie, Jury może rozważyć obniżenie jej oceny. W przypadku, gdy jedna para zatrzyma ruch na parkiecie, inne pary nie będą mogły jej ominąć. Jeśli jury uzna to za konieczne, para może zatańczyć do innego tanga, aby rozwiązać niedogodności.

Po objęciu para nie może się rozstać, gdy gra muzyka. Aby pozycja została uznana za prawidłową. Rozumie się, że w niektórych figurach może to być elastyczne, ale nie przez cały czas trwania tańca.

Wszystkie ruchy i figury muszą być wykonywane w przestrzeni, na jaką pozwala uścisk pary, aby nie przeszkadzać innym parom tańczącym. Prowadzący może zaprosić osobę podążającą za nim do chodzenia i/lub odwracania się w prawo lub lewo, bez cofania się na parkiecie. Partnerzy nie muszą przerywać uścisku między tangami.

Kryteria oceny:

Para może wykonać dowolne powszechnie stosowane figury „społecznego” tanga, w tym barridas (zamiatania), sacadas al piso (przyciąganie do podłogi), enrosques (skręty), ganchos (haki), boleos itp., a także ozdoby zawsze w swojej własnej przestrzeni, nie przeszkadzając parom tańczącym wokół nich. Skoki, figury, które wymagają uniesienia obu stóp nad ziemię i wszelkie inne możliwości choreograficzne typowe dla tanga scenicznego są całkowicie zabronione.

Jury weźmie pod uwagę interpretację pary w różnych stylach. Weźmie również pod uwagę muzykalność, elegancki styl chodzenia, ale szczególnie więź między partnerami i poszukiwanie własnego wyrazu, a także umiejętność zmiany dynamiki i tempa w zależności od granego tanga.

Stroje: Stroje nie będą brane pod uwagę podczas procesu oceniania, ale tancerzom zaleca się elegancki ubiór. Wybierając strój, fryzurę i makijaż, pamiętaj, że tango jest tańcem towarzyskim, a nie scenicznym.

TANGO ESCENARIO (WSTĘP NIEOGRANICZONY, AMATORZY I PROFESJONALIŚCI)

Występ: Każda para zaprezentuje indywidualny występ z utworem według własnego wyboru, który nie będzie dłuższy niż 4 minuty.

W przypadku wystąpienia problemu z choreografią para zdecyduje, czy kontynuować taniec, czy nie, a Jury oceni sposób i wdzięk, z jakim rozwiązuje niedogodności; jednak parze nie będzie wolno powtórzyć występu.

W przypadku wystąpienia problemu technicznego Organizacja wraz z Jury oceni powtórzenie choreografii pod koniec wyznaczonego przedziału czasowego występu.

Kryteria oceny:

Uczestnicy będą mogli wyrazić swoją opinię na temat argentyńskiego tańca tango. Oznacza to, że parom będzie wolno wykonywać ruchy, figury i ozdoby, które nie są bezpośrednio związane z tradycyjnym tańcem tango. Ale choreografia musi zawierać tradycyjne elementy tanga: ósemki, obroty, długie spacery, boleo, ganchos i „milonguero embrace”.

Pary będą mogły przerwać uścisk i użyć technik z innych dyscyplin tanecznych, o ile są uzasadnione i wzbogacają występ tancerza.

Sztuczki powietrzne i ruchy z innych dyscyplin tanecznych nie mogą być nadmierne. Oznacza to, że nie mogą przekraczać jednej trzeciej ogólnego występu. Para musi uwzględnić sekwencje ruchów na podłodze na całej powierzchni sceny.

Stroje: Stroje mogą być brane pod uwagę podczas procesu oceniania.

Para, która zajmie pierwsze miejsce, otrzyma:

> Wejście na Mundial Tanga w Buenos Aires od etapu Ćwierćfinałów (przy minimum 20 startujących parach), wejście na Mundial Tanga w Buenos Aires od etapu Półfinałów (przy minimum 40 startujacych parach)

> Oficjalny Puchar 2025

> Oficjalny Certyfikat

> Bilet lotniczy w obie strony z kraju, w którym mieszkają zwycięzcy, do Buenos Aires.

> Tygodniowy pobyt w Buenos Aires w sierpniu, w tygodniu, w którym odbywa się Puchar Świata w Tańcu Tango Buenos Aires.

VALS, KATEGORIA MILONGA

Para, która zajmie pierwsze miejsce, otrzyma:

Para, która zajmie pierwsze miejsce, otrzyma:

> Bilet lotniczy w obie strony z kraju, w którym mieszkają zwycięzcy, do miasta Buenos Aires.

>Tygodniowy pobyt w Buenos Aires w sierpniu, w tygodniu, w którym odbywa się Puchar Świata w Tańcu Tango Buenos Aires.

Ważna informacja: W przypadku wygrania obu oficjalnych kategorii przez parę, oprócz dwóch oficjalnych pucharów, będzie ona miała dłuższy pobyt w Buenos Aires, do 2 tygodni zakwaterowania i rejestracji, aby wziąć udział w półfinałach TANGO BUENOS AIRES FESTIVAL DANCE WORLD CUP 2025 dla obu kategorii.

W momencie zawodów co najmniej dziesięć (10) par musi wziąć udział w rundach kwalifikacyjnych w kategorii Tango Stage (Escenario) i co najmniej dwadzieścia (20) w kategorii Tango de Pista, aby zawody zostały uznane za oficjalne i otrzymały oficjalne nagrody (niezależnie od liczby zarejestrowanych uczestników). W przeciwnym razie wydarzenie nie będzie już oficjalne, a zwycięska para nie otrzyma zapłaty za podróż do Buenos Aires i nie zakwalifikuje się do udziału w TANGO BUENOS AIRES FESTIVAL Y MUNDIAL 2025.

Allowed Countries to Participate in the Oficial Preliminaries & Polish Cup Warsaw 2025

Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and UK.

COMPETITION STAGES & RULES

The competition is divided into the following categories

1. Tango Pista - Official Qualifiers for the BA World Cup and the Polish International Cup

2. Tango Escenario - Official Qualifiers for the BA World Cup and the Polish International Cup

3. Tango Vals - Polish International Cup

4. Tango Milonga - Polish International Cup

5. Milonguero/Milonguera - Polish International Cup

The competition, in all categories, will be developed in 3 stages, according to the schedule established by Organisation:

I) Qualifying Round,

II) Semifinal,

III) Final.

I) Qualifying Round: All registered couples will participate. They will dance one time on Friday.

II) Semifinal: Couples that have been selected in the Qualifying Round will participate on Saturday.

III) Final: Couples that have been selected in the Semifinal will participate on Sunday.

In the Tango de Pista, Vals, Milonga, Milonguero categories, couples will compete in group performances, dancing to three recorded songs, selected by the Preliminary.

In the Stage Tango category, each couple will compete individually, dancing to one song of their choice. The music piece shall not exceed four (4) minutes.

At the time of the competition, at least ten (10) couples must participate in the qualifying rounds for the Tango Stage (Escenario) category and at least twenty (20) for the Tango de Pista category for the competition to be considered official (regardless of the number of registered participants). Otherwise, the event will no longer be official, and the winning couple will not qualify to compete in the TANGO BUENOS AIRES FESTIVAL Y MUNDIAL 2025.

Couples may be disqualified if they:

a) Do not comply with the competition regulations.

b) Engage in any political or religious expression during the competition (by any means) that could be deemed offensive to the audience or the organizers, or that could interfere with the event’s proceedings.

c) Commit any ethical violation or improper act that could tarnish the image of the Preliminaries and/or the 2025 Tango World Championship, or cause discomfort to the audience.

d) Engage in any act of physical and/or verbal aggression within or outside the competition venue, against any person, including participants, jury members, staff, or the general public.

If any of these situations arise, THE ORGANIZATION and FESTIVALES BA may jointly decide to disqualify or eliminate the couple from the competition.

Competitors are allowed to attend group classes or seminars led by jury members, but they may not take private lessons from any jury member while they are still competing.

Regarding appeals: All jury decisions will be final and not subject to appeal. By registering, participants automatically accept this condition. In case of any doubts or disagreements, the concerned party may submit a written request (in Spanish or English) to THE ORGANIZATION, but NOT directly to the judging panel.

FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHING

The Organisation of the Preliminary reserves the right to record all the stages of the Championship, by any means known or to be known—including but not limited to filming, recording, photographing, digitalisation, etc.—by itself or third parties, in order to promote and advertise the event. The recorded material obtained will be the exclusive property of the Organisation of the Preliminary, who will have to turn a copy of it, as established by the Collaboration Agreement, to the Office of Festivals. By entering the Championship, participants explicitly and irrevocably authorise the use of the recorded material, without this suggesting—or implying—any compensation for any reason whatsoever by the Organisation of the Preliminary and/or the Office of Festivals, in favor of any person or organisation that claims entitlement to any right that may be invoked. This clause also includes, without limitation, all photographic material published and/or made available for promotion, advertisement, etc.

JUDGING CRITERIA

TANGO PISTA, VALS, MILONGA, MILONGUERO (UNRESTRICTED ENTRY, AMATEURS AND PROFESSIONALS)

Tango is conceived as a social dance, where the most important aspects are the improvisation, embrace and connection between the dance partners.

Circulation of couples: Couples, as in a real dance hall, will dance in rounds and will have to constantly move counterclockwise without going backwards. They will be allowed, if needed, to walk one or two step backwards at most always within the space of the couple.

The couple must be aware and respectful of their own and other couples’ space in the round in order not to break the harmony when moving around.

If a couple performs more than two phrases in the same spot, obstructing the circulation on the dance floor, the Jury may consider lowering their score. In the event that one couple stops the flow of traffic around the dance floor, it is not possible for other couples to go past them. If the jury deems it necessary, the round of couples may have to dance to another tango to solve the inconvenience.

Once formed, the couple must not separate while the music is playing. For the position to be considered correct, the body of one of the members of the couple must be contained at all the time by the arm of the other. It is understood that in certain figures this may be flexible, but not throughout the whole duration of the dance.

All movements and figures must be made within the space allowed by the couple’s embrace, so as not to get in the way of the other couples dancing. The leader may invite the follower to walk and/or turn to their right or left, without taking steps backwards on the dance floor. It is not necessary for partners to break the embrace between tangos.

Evaluation criteria:

The couple may perform any commonly used figures of “social” tango, including barridas (sweeps), sacadas al piso (drawn to the floor), enrosques (twists), ganchos (hooks), boleos, etc., as well as embellishments always within their own space, without standing in the way of couples dancing around them. Jumps, figures that involve lifting both feet off the ground and any other choreographic possibilities typical of Stage Tango are completely forbidden.

The Jury will take into account the couple’s own interpretation in different styles as fundamental to the score. They will also consider their musicality, elegant walking style, but especially the connection between partners and the search for their own expression, as well as the ability to change the dynamics and speed accordingly depending on the tango being played.

Costumes: Outfits will not be taken into consideration during the judging process, but dancers are recommended to dress smartly. When choosing the outfit, hairstyle and make-up, please be reminded that Tango  is a social dance and not a stage dance.

STAGE TANGO (UNRESTRICTED ENTRY, AMATEURS AND PROFESSIONALS)

Performance: Each couple will offer an individual performance with a song of their choice that shall not be more than 4 minutes long.

In case of having a problem with the choreography, the couple will decide whether to continue dancing or not, and the Jury will evaluate the manner and grace with which they solve the inconvenience; but the couple will not be allowed to repeat the performance.

If a technical problem should occur, the Organisation along with the Jury will evaluate the repetition of the choreography at the end of the assigned performing time slot.

Evaluation criteria:

Participants will be able to express their view of the Argentine tango dance. This means that couples will be allowed to perform movements, figures and embellishments that are not directly related to the traditional tango dance. But the choreography must include traditional elements of tango: figure eights, spins, long walks, boleos, hooks, and the “milonguero embrace.”

Couples will be able to break the embrace and use techniques from other dance disciplines, as long as they are justified and enrich the performance of the dancer.

Aerial tricks and movements from other dance disciplines must not be excessive. This means that they must not exceed a third of the overall performance. The couple must include floor movement sequences throughout the whole stage floor.

Costumes: Outfits may be taken into consideration during the judging process.

>A week stay accommodation in Buenos Aires during August, week during which the Tango Buenos Aires Dance World Cup takes place.

>A week stay accommodation in Buenos Aires during August, week during which the Tango Buenos Aires Dance World Cup takes place.

Important Information: In the case a couple wins both official categories it will, apart from the two official cups, have a longer stay in Buenos Aires up to 2 weeks accommodation and the registration to compete in the  Semi-finals of TANGO BUENOS AIRES FESTIVAL DANCE WORLD CUP 2025 for both categories.

At the time of the competition, at least ten (10) couples must participate in the qualifying rounds for the Tango Stage (Escenario) category and at least twenty (20) for the Tango de Pista category for the competition to be considered official and therefore have the official Prizes (regardless of the number of registered participants). Otherwise, the event will no longer be official, and the winning couple will not have the trip pay to Buenos Aires and qualify to compete in the TANGO BUENOS AIRES FESTIVAL Y MUNDIAL 2025.
